What Is Gua Sha?

A natural healing therapy in East Asia Medicine. “Gua” means to scrape and “Sha” refers to the change in color of the skin after the scraping. “Sha” also refers to negative or blocked energy in the body that is released with the use of the Gua Sha stones.

Common areas of the body where it is used are the back, neck, arms, and legs. More recently becoming popular is the use for the face due to the rejuvenation properties.
