A Client’s comments
“My daughter gave me a gift certificate to Mon Sanctuaire. What a blessing! My appointment was with Melinda and after some discussion, we decided I would benefit from the Craniosacral Therapy. My treatment was 90 minutes and in that time my body went thru a purge and cleansing process that left me feeling relaxed, relieved and so peaceful. Melinda is a healer in every sense of the word. My body pain usually registers at 6-7, 10 being the worst. Since my first treatment it’s at 1-2. Having regular treatments is now part of my self-care. Feb. 4, 2019
I had my second Craniosacral session with Melinda and my results are remarkable. My overall body pain level is almost nonexistent and a head bob I’ve had for 25 years has all but disappeared. At 67 yo this has done more for my overall health than any pill I take.”
About Craniosacral Therapy
The therapy is used to dissipate the negative effects of stress, and to enhance your general health and resistance to disease. It has a lengthening effect on the spine and compliments any therapy or chiropractic adjustments. I incorporate a number of other modalities in my sessions depending on the clients needs.
By complementing the body’s natural healing processes, CST is increasingly used as a preventive health measure for its ability to bolster resistance to disease, and is effective for a wide range of medical problems associated with pain and dysfunction, including:
- Chronic pain as a result of accidents
- Chronic Fatigue Stress Disorder
- “Frozen” shoulders
- Temporal-mandibular dysfunction (TMJ)
- Chronic Neck and Back Pain
- Fibromyalgia
- Stress and Tension-Related Problems
- Migraine Headaches
- Concussions
